We’re delighted to announce the launch of a fully custom-built website for Kingsclere Counselling Service and Thatcham Counselling Service. Designed and developed from the ground up, the new sites combine a calm and encouraging, user-focused design with a bespoke CMS tailored to the needs of a growing counselling provider.
Based in the North Hampshire Downs, sister-company Kingsclere Counselling Service provides a warm, safe and professional environment where clients can talk with one of many brilliant and qualified therapists.
They recently expanded to open a new second location, establishing Thatcham Counselling Service. The new practice necessitated a new website, but it also offered a nice opportunity to subtly refresh the current brand that spans across both websites – keeping sites separate but visually and structurally consistent with each other.
With their new websites, the team can now easily manage and grow their content with new pages, add calls-to-action, and therapist profiles without relying on developers. We built a bespoke Content Management System (CMS) with more control over the therapist’s profile listings, including integrated “Book Now” functionality that allows clients to view therapists availability, and aims to reduce barriers to making a booking.
The sites offer a calm, clean look and feel that reflects the company’s values. We want to create a feeling of safety and trust for visitors. We re-organised the site structure to improve navigation and user journeys, and built a fully responsive design that works beautifully on all devices.
We explored new content ideas, introducing a news and articles area enabling the team to create content that informs clients and performs for search engines. In addition, we introduced testimonials to the content plan as they can be beneficial in building trust and credibility.
The new Content Management System (CMS) brings the team even greater control over each page, this allows them to whip up beautiful and engaging pages that look crafted.
