Young Ballerz Basketball was established a couple of years before reaching out to us at Applecado. 

They quickly grew out of an off-the-shelf platform and had been left looking for something that would give them more control of administration functionality, and just as importantly — an improved experience for their customers.

Young Ballerz had just completed a re-branding which made the design a really exciting opportunity. We worked with their new super-saturated and fun colour ways, and gave them big bold attention-grabbing areas of content that work beautifully with their photography.

The team were really keen to showcase their range of venues with an interactive map, and opted for custom map pins with bouncing basketballs. There are some other animations that add a nice flourish — the buttons are some of our favourites.

At Applecado, we build every project in-house which means any functionality is possible. We built the perfect administration system allowing them to manage venues, term dates, classes and bookings — as well as some custom reporting to stay on top of the important details.

We launched the new Young Ballerz Basketball website in January 2024, and we’re proud to have helped create thousands of bookings and even a second phase of development as they expand their offering and add franchising features.
