In 2014, we worked with Flying Pictures on a bespoke management system allowing the conscientious organisation of important bulletins and safety reports. We were very happy to be asked to redesign and build the company website two years later.
Applecado were tasked with a complete overhaul of Flying Pictures’ existing website design and content, we refined the old confusing navigation and removed pages that the team felt were no longer needed.
We started with an near blank canvas and designed this impactful parallax website. The back-end cleverly allows Flying Pictures to add more stunning photography and panels of text to parallax pages very easily.
We really love the Credits section, Flying Pictures have been involved with a huge number of blockbusters so we felt a full width wall of movie posters was the most appropriate way of highlighting their excellent work immediately.
We’re also really pleased with how the News section pulls posts and images from their Facebook page, cutting down on some of those little jobs that can take up time.
Flying Pictures are regarded as the world leaders in all forms of aerial film and television production, whether it is action in the air or aerial filming from helicopters, planes and drones.
