Recommend & Share is a platform place where both consumers and tradespeople can recommend each other, for everyone to see.
We wanted to do so much more than creating another ‘directory’, instead we have built a feedback system that enables both sides of any project to commit with confidence. Customers can leave reviews on tradespeople they have worked with, and interestingly, Recommend and Share allows companies to leave feedback on their customers which should allow the next business to undertake work from customers they know are genuine, won’t waste their time, and will fulfil their payment obligations.
We built Recommend and Share from the design concepts, and with customer data and privacy first and foremost, making the site fully GDPR compliant. The system uses two-factor authentication to verify that people are who they say they are, no customers are added to the system until they give permission and anyone has to right to remove themselves at any point - with one click they can anonymise their reviews and remove their data from the site entirely.
By encouraging both consumers and tradespeople to show one another their appreciation - via the simple gesture of a recommendation - Recommend & Share aim to create a better and safer environment for all.
